Introduced in Pokemon Gold and Silver (Generation 2), Steel type Pokemon are known
for their high defense stat and their great offensive and defensive aspects. Not only are they great
offensively toward the fairly overpowered Fairy type, they are immune to being poisoned
and sandstorm damage. They also resist very well against many other types.
Despite being steel types, some steel type Pokemon aren't completely steel themselves, but instead
have aspects of it. A great and popular example of a steel type that doesn't quite look like one
is Lucario, introduced in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl (Generation 4) [shown below].
